Paleo Chicken Dinner

Ingredients:

  • 600g of chicken breast

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon of paprika

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

  • 200g of broccoli

  • 150g of bell peppers

  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Season chicken breast with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

  • While the chicken is cooking, chop broccoli and bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.

  • In a separate pot, steam the broccoli for about 5 minutes until tender.

  • Add the bell peppers to the frying pan with the chicken during the last few minutes of cooking.

  • Once the chicken is done, squeeze fresh lemon juice over it and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

  • Serve the chicken with steamed broccoli and bell peppers on the side.
